I look outside, the willow tree weeps,

There seems to be something today

That makes all the flowers want to play!

The squirrels jump down from their tree,

Skitter around, they seem so free!

The robins hop around on the sidewalk,

Chirping a lot,

What a long talk!

The moon is in a long conversation with the stars

About which part of the sky is theirs, and which is ours!

I hop out of bed,

For a day I will not dread

The moon notices me coming

And stops it's bickering

The path is filled with light

So I make my way

To the garden at night
