I remember being very proud of this poem when I wrote it in fourth grade, although now I don't really see why. But, I would still like to share it with you!


Here it is:


Run, I say

Run to the mountain of leaves

That are as high as the sky.

Jump, I say

Jump as high as a kangaroo

Into the warmness of the leaf pile.

Fluttered down they did,

Scattered they became,

For me to get out my rake

And start again!
